So last weekend I went to my favourite place in the world, Glastonbury Festival. I was Motel Rocks’ festival reporter and you can check out my guest post for them which is featured on their blog now here.
I’ve spent the last week recovering from and missing Glastonbury but look out for my post on it here soon!
I’m off to Glastonbury on Wednesday and I could not be more excited!! It is without doubt my favourite time of the whole year and it’s going to be doubly special this year because I haven’t been back to England since Christmas and I will get to see all my home friends all at once!
Here are some of my favourite festival outfits to get us all in the mood!
I have been obsessing over Kanken backpacks for months, unable (of course) to decide on which colour to get. In the end I went for the classic, goes with everything Graphite colour and I love it. I liked the idea of getting a bright colour but thought it wouldn’t be as practical. The Kanken backpacks are really comfy and a great size – I use mine to carry my laptop and camera to work.
Hello! Sorry I haven’t blogged for so long – hope you haven’t forgotten me! Things have been quite mad, stressful and time consuming at work. As I’ve mentioned before, I am in charge of the content of the Kilo Shop Facebook but it was taking up a lot of my spare time (and I wasn’t being paid any extra). Now things seem to be moving in the right direction with more responsibilities and more time at work to do the work so fingers crossed!
My friend took this photo of me whilst we were doing a little shoot at work. I simply cannot get enough of this jumpsuit – it’s so comfortable to work in during the day but it’s also great to dress up for a dinner or night out. And yes I’ve taken the plunge and splashed out on some real Doc Martens shoes (before I was wearing cheap Asos look-a-likes who have now broken). I love Doc Martens shoes.
See you next time! I won’t leave it as long I promise!
After over a year of blogging, here is my first ‘haul’ post. I know, I am officially a fashion blogger now. I guess I haven’t really done this kind of post before because I’m quite careful with money, despite being a complete fashion victim.
I’ve stored up some Topshop Gift Cards from the last couple of Christmases so this haul didn’t cost me a penny! Most fashion lovers reading this will be screaming at the computer “HOW THE HELL DIDN’T YOU SPEND THEM ALREADY?!” Well, to tell the truth, I just hadn’t found anything I liked or thought worth the money until now.
I’ve been looking for a simple comfy jumpsuit for ages and this one fits the bill, plus I am obsessed with little straps so I love this feature. Then, I needed some crops for summer and Topshop is perfect for cheap basics. I love Topshop’s sock range and I knew I was going to get some more frilly ones and then I saw these tassel ones and fell in love – how amazing are they?! And to top it off I treated myself to an old 90s tattoo choker, which I’ve been wanting for ages.
