Finally Mine

I am super happy to finally have in my possession everyone’s favourite kick flares and these sassy platform espadrilles – the fringed jacket is just the cherry on the top of a very sweet cake. I have been watching my ASOS saved items like a hawk ever since the size 10 kick flares that turned out to be too big and since these shoes suddenly and surprisingly sold out. However, on one fine morning a couple of weeks ago, I was in luck. Within one hour both were ordered and finally mine. Oh yeah baby.
I decided to pair my two new favourite items with a cheeky melon tee and this incredible fringed jacket, which brings the look together perfectly. The great thing about both this jacket and these yellow platform espadrilles is that they really add that extra something to an outfit, requiring minimal effort elsewhere. I can see myself wearing the shoes with some frayed blue jeans and a white tee and I’ll be throwing on the fringed jacket with anything during chilly spring evenings.
Je suis super contente qu’enfin j’ai ce pantalon évasé en sergé et ces espadrilles compensées! Ça fait longtemps que je regarde chaque jour mes ‘articles sauvegardés’ sur ASOS en attendant que ces articles ne sont plus épuisés. Et alors, un beau matin il y a deux semaines, j’ai eu de la chance. Pendant une heure, j’avais commandé les deux – enfin ils étaient les miens.
J’ai décidé de mettre ensemble mes deux nouveaux articles préférés avec un t-shirt à motif et cette veste à fringe magnifique, qui finit le look parfaitement. Une raison (mais pas la seule) pour laquelle la veste et les espadrilles sont géniales est parce qu’elles ajoutent un extra je ne sais quoi à un look pour qu’on n’ait pas besoin d’en penser la reste du outfit. J’imagine que je mettrai ces espadrilles avec un bleu jean déchiré et un t-shirt blanc et je pourrai porter la veste avec n’importe quel look pendant des soirées fraîches de printemps.

Sailor Stripes, Ruffles And Denim

What trends are always massive in spring and summer? That’s right, stripes and denim. Throw in SS16 trend newbie ruffles and we have today’s outfit. I picked up this adorable striped ruffle t-shirt top (among other things) on a recent visit to Zara to settle my ever-growing panic of not having anything to wear.
I think this top is going to be my easy throw on top this spring because it is just super versatile. Here I have paired it with a wardrobe staple, the button down denim skirt, but it will look equally good with some skinny jeans or cut off shorts. As this look is quite relaxed, I just added my much loved (read: scruffy) Converse and a baker boy cap.

Quelles sont les plus grandes tendances chaque printemps et été? Oui, des rayures et du denim. On ajoute la nouvelle tendance de ruches et voilà, vous avez ce look du jour. J’ai acheté ce haut chez Zara pour régler ma panique d’avoir rien à porter.
Je pense que ce haut deviendra le haut que je mettrai beaucoup en printemps parce qu’il ira avec plein de pièces. Aujourd’hui, je l’ai mis avec un must-have de votre placard, une jupe en jean bouttonné, mais je sais qu’il ira super bien avec un jean skinny ou un short déchiré. Vu que ce look est déjà décontracté, J’ai fini ce outfit en mettant mes Converse adorés (ou usés!) et une casquette marine.

It’s My Blog Birthday!

It’s my blog birthday! That’s right. This little space of the internet is three years old today!
Like a bad mother, I forgot to celebrate Fashion Et Moi’s first and second birthdays so I wanted to make the big number three a bit special. Sure, I looked like I was on my way home from a wild Friday night out when I went to shoot these photos at 8am on Saturday morning but it was worth it to avoid dodging tourists and staring eyes.
I have known for a while, visually, what I wanted this post to be like. I knew that it would involve silver balloons and a party dress, for which I chose this gorgeous silver sequin metallic slip dress from Mango. However, to be honest, I do not really know what to write.
So I guess I will just say thank you. Thank you to all of you who read this blog. Thank you to my boyfriend Lewis for being such an awesome photographer. And thank you to family and friends for supporting and encouraging me.

C’est l’anniversaire de mon blog! Aujourd’hui, il y a trois ans, j’ai commencé cette petite espace sur l’Internet et je suis contente de le fêter avec vous!
Comme une mauvaise mère, j’ai oublié de fêter les premiers et deuxièmes anniversaires de Fashion Et Moi du coup je voulais faire quelque chose de spécial pour son troisième anniversaire.
Ca fait longtemps que je savais comment je voulais cette poste. Je savais qu’il y aura des ballons argents et une robe à paillettes, de laquelle j’ai choisi cette robe à bretelles métallique de Mango. Cependant, pour être honnête, je ne sais pas quoi écrire.
Alors je dis merci. Je remercie vous tous qui lit ce blog. Je remercie mon copain Lewis parce qu’il prend des photos géniales. Et je remercie ma famille et mes amis qui me soutiennent et m’encouragent.

Heart Print Mini Skirt

I bought this super cute heart print mini skirt back in February and it has just been sitting patiently in my wardrobe ever since for temperatures to rise, the poor thing. Well spring (or even summer) has truly sprung here in Barcelona and in my eyes, getting your pins out is definitely acceptable.
Due to the skirt’s A-line shape and fun motif, I knew instantly that I wanted to create a sixties look. Naturally, I paired the skirt with a white polo neck t-shirt top and finished it off with my slouchy baker boy hat and trusty ankle boots.
I absolutely love this skirt and I think it is going to be super wearable going through spring and into summer. It is easy and comfortable to wear during the day in the city but thanks to its wrap around style, it will be great to throw on to go to the beach – like a sassy sarong if you will.

J’ai acheté cette jupe super mignonne à motif cœurs en février donc ça fait deux mois qu’elle attend dans mon armoire pour que les températures augmentent, la pauvre. Heureusement, le printemps est assurément arrivé ici à Barcelone et maintenant j’ai aucun problème de porter des jupes sans collants.
Grâce à sa forme trapeze et son motif fun, je savais toute de suite que je voulais créer un look sixties avec cette jupe. Naturellement, je l’ai portée avec un t-shirt col roulé et j’ai fini le look avec ma casquette ample et des bottines.
Je kiffe cette jupe et je pense qu’elle va être super facile à porte pendant le printemps et l’été. Elle est confortable à porter pendant une journée dans la ville mais aussi à la plage parce qu’elle est du style sarong – un sarong branché, je veux dire!
