Kilt

Kilt – vintage / Top – H&M (old) / Leather jacket – Asos (old) / Cut out boots – Choies

Being a tartan lover, as soon as a saw this kilt, I knew I had to have it. There are lots of kilts in the shops at the moment so I am glad that the one I own will not be exactly the same as everyone else’s! It looks like a genuine Scottish one as it is a proper wrap around kilt! I love the contrast between the smooth front panel and the pleated back as well as the fringe down the side at the front. I also really like the length of it, any shorter and it would look like a slutty school girl skirt!

It looks great with this bodycon top or, alternatively, a crop top. Finish the look off with a denim or leather jacket – personally I think wearing all black with red tartan is a winner because it means the print stands out.

P.S. Sorry that the photos are quite dark – lighting is going to be a problem with winter around the corner and not getting back from work until 5:30pm!
